Rivière au Diable, Quebec
Never did I hear such a plethora of Quebecois swear words strung together as when the whitewater got inside the kayak... Everyday I learn a new French word!!

First Signs of Life...
Spontaneous weekend of Cirque du Soleil, watching first signs of life on Mont Tremblant and meeting new people....
Few things beat the sentiment of hope rendered by the sight of tender green leaves budding out of the winter-hardened tree barks... And people, of course, to borrow from Pretty Woman, "most of them shock the hell out of me"... in a good way... most of the time... :)
One of the many waterfalls in Mont Tremblant, more famous as a ski resort, but also a fun hike in Spring....
Rain clouds gathering over the foot of Mont Tremblant, the pseudo-European rooftopped hotels and the great Lac Tremblant... rain, not my favourite thing, but I acknowledge, this is what gives rise to the likes of the little spring buds...
Gray Rocks... hotel and ski resort, in operation for a century, closed its doors this season; now facing demolition and/or conversion to some other form of bussiness. I had the rare priviledge of meeting the owner, who turned out to be a science enthusiast, wait not just any science, but physics, not just any physics but particle physics, not just any particle physics but dark matter... In a weird co-incidence, his Scientific American issue was dog eared on current dark matter searches. What's more he had 4 dogs and 8 cats... one of them a wooly akita... awww... satisfied my bear need... for now... So I conclude, all millionaires are super nice... :)
No, this is just a street in Tremblant...
